🌼 Designer Story

“I am a Yorkshire lass, born and bred, now living over the border in Derbyshire. I suffer from osteoarthritis and had a full knee replacement in 2019. Before the operation, I often referred to my left knee as ‘my bad knee.’ After the operation, it quickly became ‘my new knee.’

I took my new knee out for small, regular walks and followed all recommended exercises. At my second physio appointment, I was signed off—my new knee was doing just fine. Within six weeks, I walked unaided, and by Christmas, my new knee took me on a five-mile walk around Grasmere Lake. My new knee was the best thing since sliced bread… and that’s how ‘Minunee’ was born!”

📏 Finished Blanket Size

When worked with a tension of 20 dc (US) to 10 cm, the finished blanket will measure approximately 200 cm x 125 cm. However, you can adjust the size slightly by modifying the stitch count or hook size to suit your needs.
