Introducing the Forget Me Not Dots Blanket from Sandra Paul of Cherry Heart!

Sandra says:  “This blanket will always remind me of the time I sat together with my Nan, as we tried to work out how she’d made the same square that I’ve used in this project.  I like to think that she would have been pleased with the way this blanket turned out and I hope you make some very special memories whilst crocheting up one of your own.”

This Cherry Heart Forget Me Not Dots Blanket Yarn Pack pack contains 26 balls of Stylecraft Special DK in the following shades and quantities:

• 17 x Stylecraft Special DK – Duck Egg (1820) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Apricot (1026) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Copper (1029) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Grey (1099) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Claret (1123) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Petrol (1708) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Gold (1709) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Sage (1725) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Pistachio (1822) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Blush (1833) – 100g

You will also need a 4 mm (G) crochet hook and a yarn needle.  The skill level of this pattern is estimated by the designer as “Intermediate”.  You will use a mix of basic and some intermediate stitches.  The pattern assumes some experience of written patterns and joining motifs using crochet.

The pattern is not included with the pack, but a pdf can be purchased and downloaded here (UK terms, US terms).  It includes clear instructions, links to other tutorials, details of layout and colour placement and a crochet chart.

Please note:  Pack quantities are given for the project when worked to the tension stated in the pattern.  If a different hook is used, or your tension differs from the designer’s, additional yarn may be required.
