Introducing the Hexadaisy Blanket from Emyleah Newbery of Meema Makes!

Emyleah says: “This blanket is inspired by one of my favourite flowers – daisies.  Daisies make me think of happy summer days spent outdoors, surrounded by nature, and this was my inspiration for both the design and the colour palette.  Each of the colours represents a particular memory or summer activity; for example, Claret is the perfect red for gingham picnic blankets, whilst Stone represents sandy beaches.”

This yarn pack contains 16 balls of Stylecraft Special DK in the following shades and quantities:

You will also need 4mm crochet hook, a yarn needle and a pair of scissors.  The skill level of this pattern is estimated by the designer as “Beginner”.  You will use basic crochet stitches and cluster stitches in this design.  The finished blanket will measure 102 cm x 132 cm (40 inches x 52 inches) and the colour pack quantities given are for this size.
