Janie Crow Sunshine and Showers Blanket Yarn Pack

Janie’s inspiration for the Sunshine and Showers blanket was the seasonal weather of the UK, with each section of the blanket reflecting a different seasonal theme.  For example, in July and August, the design was based on sunny skies and flowers, whereas in January, the focus was grey, snowy weather, which I represented by using crochet puff stitches.  The blanket is worked in rows in a sampler style and is made in 4 sections, which are joined together to make one big blanket.

This yarn pack contains 15 balls of Stylecraft Special DK in the following shades and quantities:

• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Cream (1005) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Duck Egg (1820) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Fondant (1241) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Gold (1709) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Grape (1067) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Graphite (1063) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Khaki (1027) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Lime (1712) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Meadow (1065) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Pale Rose (1080 – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Petrol (1708) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Raspberry (1023) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Spice (1711) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Storm Blue (1722) – 100g
• 1 x Stylecraft Special DK – Turquoise (1068) – 100g

You will also need a combination of the following hook size, depending on your tension:  3.5mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm.  The finished blanket will measure approximately 96cm x 186 cm, and the yarn pack quantities given are for this size.
